GESS,
Women’s Fiction, Romance
I’m GESS. I write fiction stories about women thriving, having their way, getting what they want. I’m fortunate to be a member of Armadillo Authors Society and Pen & Fork writers’ groups.
My short story “Unnoticed” appears in Mixed Bag of Tricks: A Short Story Anthology, edited by Britta Jensen. A few years ago, I was the winner of the 2020 Yellow Bird Editors First Page Contest and a finalist in the 2015 Writers’ League of Texas Manuscript Contest (Romance category).
Before that, I graduated from the University of Washington (English and Spanish Literature BAs) and the University of Texas at Austin (Latin American Literature MA). I’m also a member of Women’s Fiction Writers Association, Writers’ League of Texas, and the Waco Calligraphy Guild.
