Lina Linehan,
Fantasy
Lina writes at the crossroads of art, travel, and human connection. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Texas and an MBA from Texas State University—an uncommon pairing that mirrors her life’s balance between creativity and precision. Based in Austin, Texas, Lina carries the colors, textures, and rhythms of her hometown into her work, while her travels across the world offer fresh landscapes for her imagination.
Her career as an investment banker in public finance has honed a discipline and attention to detail that now anchor her storytelling. Numbers taught her to see patterns; people taught her to see meaning. In her fiction, those two worlds meet, creating narratives that are at once carefully structured and richly alive.
For the past several years, Lina has been quietly building a body of work in the in-between hours—late evenings, early mornings, long weekends—letting stories take root and grow. Her debut novel, The Phoenix Heart, is anticipated to be released in 2026, and reflects a voice shaped by art and analysis, by home and horizon, and by a deep curiosity for the ways people live, dream, and endure.
