Tips for supporting indie and small press authors
Buy books!
Order them from your favorite local bookstore, Amazon or Bookshop.org. You can even request them at your library. Ps. Books make great stocking stuffers.
Spread the word!
Share the love of books by spreading the word with your friends, family, on social media, and your book clubs!
Review books on Amazon or Goodreads.
Reviews not only help potential readers—word of mouth carries a lot of weight!—they can also help boost visibility in a very crowded marketplace. And the reviews don’t have to be long. Simply “star” it and write a couple of sentences about what you liked about it.

Create and share fan art. (We love it!)
Write authors to let them know you loved their work. Writing is hard (even Lisa Simpson agrees). Hearing that you enjoyed our work means so much!
